Key Features
A scheme put in place by the Government of Seychelles, exclusive to Seychelles Commercial Bank.
Parents of new-born babies are issued with a voucher of SCR 1,000 at the hospital, which must be presented to the Bank by the child’s parent/guardian to open an account for the child within a year from birth.
If the account is not opened within the designated time frame, the voucher will be annulled.
The voucher is not transferrable nor redeemable.
No withdrawal is permitted on the account
Account to be transferred to minor upon reaching 18 years of age
