Housing Loan

- Permission to build on parent's/parents' property accepted if the property is not owned by the borrower(s)
- Loan amount is subject to the repayment capacity of the borrower
- Competitive interest rate
- Maximum repayment period up to 25 years
- Grace period of 9 months maximum. Interest to be serviced during grace period.
- Low Personal contribution
- Security:
- 1st line charge on property purchased/constructed
- Household Insurance Policy covering the property financed
Some of the documents required will differ depending on whether you are going buy, build or renovate your dream home. However, the main documents for all three applications are;
- Valid ID Card or Valid passport
- Latest proof of income (Payslip) or proof of any additional income if applicable e.g. spouse’s income
- Valid proof of address (Utility bills)
- Salary assignment form duly signed and stamped by paymaster
For Construction and Renovation
- Income and Expenditure statement (if self-employed)
- Statement of account held with other banks
- Original Title deed of property
- Survey plan
- Location plan
- Detailed drawing prepared by an architect and approved by the planning authority
- Structural engineering drawing (if applicable)
- Detailed quotations from at least two licensed contractors, one of which will undertake construction + copy licensed attached
- Valuation report from a Bank’s approved quantity surveyor (refer to list of QS approved by Management)
- Certificate of clean title (at Registration office)
Purchase of property
- Promise of sale from seller
- Statement of account held with other banks
- Income and Expenditure statement (if self-employed)
- Original deed of property
- Location plan
- Valuation report (QS report) – as above
- Detailed drawings of the house (if available)
- Certificate of clean title (at Registration office)
