Shareholding
Prior to 2011, the Government of Seychelles (GoS) owned 100% of shares of the Seychelles Commercial Bank. In 2011, GoS decided to reduce its shareholding in the Bank by 40%, by selling off these shares to account holders of the Bank.
Dividend
The Bank’s dividend policy balances the dual objectives of appropriately rewarding shareholders through dividends and retaining capital, in order to maintain a healthy capital adequacy ratio to support future growth.
